Live Earth Concert Around The Globe

AAconcertclimate_blurb.gifKevin Wall and Al Gore are ready to unfold their extraordinary undertaking of Live Earth, a 24-hour, 7-continent concert series taking place on 7/7/07 that will bring together more than 100 music artists and 2 billion people to trigger a global movement to solve the climate crisis.  More from Al Gore here.

Video Clip:

Al Gore:

We have a climate crisis that is a planetary emergency. The general theory behind Live Earth is we need to get this information about the crisis and solutions to it to every person on the planet, as many of them as we can reach, and then they will, armed with knowledge, put pressure on all political leaders.  If 2 billion people sign up for the 7 Point Pledge’ to curb global warming, we can begin to have a new set of policies world wide to solve the climate crisis.

To be part of this event, either in person or on air, see broadcast information.

Thanks for the reminder! I’ve been holed up infront of my computer for weeks and forgot all about the upcoming concert. I love music so you can be sure I’ll be glued to my TV tomorrow catching the tour. Just me and my laptop and the tunes to keep my toes tapping! Thanks Myrna!

Hi Myrna, Thanks for using your site to highlight Live Earth. What a fabulous undertaking worldwide. The info provided by the Live Earth website is quite compelling. What other countries’ governments are doing that we are not doing is amazing. Keep up your great work with Myrna’s List.

Wonderful site. I’d love to post this on my churches web site. Is that possible? How do I do this?
