Tom Friedman & Charlie Rose on Iraq and Global Warming

tom l friedman.jpgThomas Friedman, journalist, The New York Times columnist and author of The World Is Flat, and Charlie Rose, of the Charlie Rose Show, had a conversation tonight about Iraq and Tom was asked about his thoughts on Global Warming as well.  Mr Friedman has a fresh, bright and insightful view on how to deal with our troubling issues and Charlie’s questions kept my undivided attention.

I always find Tom Friedman’s prescriptions caring, clear and optimistic.  Most of the reactions on the Charlie Rose site are not as complementary as mine or those of Sharon Enright.  I choose to look at the "glass half full" as Sharon does:

Thomas I Friedman is right, thank you Charlie for interviewing him. He was wonderful. Someone out their who is not afraid to tell the truth and who is intimately knowledgeabe about who is Iraq, it’s history, it’s tribalism. I could go on and on, but knowing as much as I do because my husband was a UN inspector under UNSCOM and UNMOVIC who has written a paper that he has spread all over Capital Hill about the truth, …. It is just nice to hear the truth from others. Thank you Charlie Rose. We are a huge fan of yours, we watch your program everyday because you put people on who have something to say and you bring out the best in them. Cheers, Sharon

Your article on global warming is quite impressed. But you gave me more information about effect of green house projects. I had found a site which give regulary updates on global warming. This blog give have some great points like "The real heat will start after 2009, they said."
