The Parents Circle-Palestinians & Israelis Reaching Out

Bill Clinton said of The Parents Circle:

The Parents Circle’s work is praiseworthy.  They unite hundreds of Israeli and Palestinian families who have lost loved ones as a result of the Arab-Israeli conflict.  Better than anyone, these families understand the cost of the continuing violence in the Middle East and they work to end the fighting through peaceful means.

Today on The Leon Charney Report, Robi Damelin, Israeli, and Ali Abu Awwad, Palestinian, discussed The Parents Circle-Families Forum(PCFF), a grassroots organization of bereaved Palestinians and Israelis which promotes reconciliation as an alternative to hatred and revenge.

Robi, in the video below, speaks about the painful process of re-conciliation, however,  reminds us that there is a real sense of relief when you are no longer the victim.  Positive change always seems to start with plain ordinary people.
