One Million Voices to End the Conflict
I was watching Dennis Ross speak to Charlie Rose about the Middle East Conflict and from one of the comments I found this moving video for change. It shows the the grass roots, the people from Tel Aviv and Jericho, the Israeli and Palestinian people pushing their leaders for an end to the conflict - it’s an unprecedented People’s Summit to give platform to moderate voices who want change now. For more information, go to ONE VOICE MOVEMENT, ONE MILLION VOICES or the ONE VOICE BLOG.

Hi Myrna,
Your blog is looking GOOD!
I was very happy to see this little video so I will add a piece of something that I wrote the other day,
I hope and pray that in our lifetimes or those of our children that the Middle East will be able to lift the heavy fog that prevents it from being one of the most exciting parts of the world.
Istanbul, Cairo, Jerusalem, Kabul, Amman ,all of which I have visited, are stunning places.
With honest education and an absence of the corruption that stifles real growth, all of the region could come to take part in a cultural renaissance.
The peoples of the Middle East deserve to live in peace and be able to ‘pursue life and liberty and happiness’.
There is a very long way to go to begin to achieve that, but now with the internet perhaps things can change and grow more easily.
It is and will be ever harder to keep people in the dark.
Best,
George
